If you closely follow Stereofox, you have probably noticed that none of us is an avid hip-hop fan. We don't really post about it, but sometimes some gems slip through, which make me go "dayum".
Who would have thought that my latest hip-hop discovery would be coming from Finland? Not that I'm trying to be offensive, but that's not the kind of music I expect from Finland. After finishing this sentence I have realized that I pretty much know nothing about the Finnish music scene in general. Anyway.
View has created this very dark and melancholic track, moody and minimalistic. His deep voice is matched with the girls' from LCMDF and I feel like at times the transition of vocals is so smooth that I don't know who is who anymore. This track is a beautifully told story of depression and emotional struggle. I wish only good things like this would come out of depressions.
