TSHA's newest track "Sweet Devotion" with Caroline Byrne is not only her first release of 2024, but it's also one of the most vibrant and playful (instrumentally) gems she's put out.
Melodically, "Sweet Devotion" is quite minimal towards the beginning as the intro is adorned with lively drums and Caroline's passionate vocal performance. Towards the pre-chorus, we're welcomed to a spacey, reverb-coated passage that snatches our attention and leads it into a colorful climax. I loved the bouncy bass line, it seduces listeners to sway along with the groove and this is accentuated when TSHA introduces the piercing piano stabs. We can tell that "Sweet Devotion" is a single that is aimed squarely at the dancefloor, especially for those post-sunset slots.
