We had a few posts about Thelma Plum flying around here (one with her cover of Chet Faker's "Gold"), and now I am now revisiting her 2014 Monsters EP, Plum's sophomore release. Even though she is still ridiculously young (she must be what? 19 now), her sound is way more mature and so much bigger compared to her first EP.
"Young In Love" is a very emotional and dreamy track. Thelma Plum's gorgeous vocals are matched with steady bass and solid hip-hopish production, and this is when I can't call her a folk singer anymore. This soundscape will melt your heart.
And again: she's Australian. Just saying.
