As I mentioned yesterday, we're taking a slightly new direction when it comes to introducing young talents. After developing our community and SoundClout account for a while, it's time to start hosting some of the amazing boys and girls who send us their music. After Cam yesterday, I'm really excited to share our next self-hosted feature - the music a young producer from the Bay area called The44thfloor.
I had the chance to have a short chat with Derek (the guy behind the moniker) and as always I realize how genuinely awesome all the people from the new generaitons producers are. The California-based artist has been making music for about 12 years and from what I've heard so far, there's nothing but amazing things to come out in the future.
He sent me this track last week and I have to say - as soon as I heard "1L9I9V7", I knew I will fall in love with the song. It somehow reminded me of the early Tycho, which made me very excited as it's been difficult to find similar music lately.
