After releasing his first album in 7 years in 2023 (The Rat Road) and removing his signature mask, British electronic producer and songwriter SBTRKT returns with a 2-track EP titled VOLCA that dwells in the future / UKG space. The vocal sample can also be found in tracks by Rome in Silver and Barry Can't Swim, in case you wonder why it may sound similar (thought the same and some Reddit research confirmed it).
That being said, this sound definitely not foreign to Aaron and it reminds me of his early days work. A great way to add some fire to your day. Love the punchiness of the drums and I love the introduction of the rather playful piano element in the mid of the track. A nice switch of the vibe!
