Lex Lakaiser is an artist based in Burlington, North Carolina who got his start in the music business in Germany after his time as a soldier. I loved how he showcased his talents as a vocalist and as a stellar lyricist throughout this release, to the point where there were separate moments when I was reminded of Charlie Wilson and Slum Village. The instrumental is embellished with smooth drums and impressive guitar licks that complement the track's soulful nature.
