Since I'm listening to so much music daily, I have developed some sort of categorization of the tracks I listen to and some of them fall under "Sunday music". Jordan Mackampa's "Open Arms" is probably the definition of Sunday music to me.
Jordan mixes soul, folk and his raw gospel-like vocals into this perfectly calm and delicate tune. Despite having somewhat easy sound, it's a very powerful and captivating track. I always knew that the combination of acoustic guitar and bluesy vocals is quite literally a match made in heaven (I'm thinking about Matt Corby here).
I strongly recommend checking out this video of his live performance at Mahogany Sessions - it's pure bliss. I'd say keeping an eye on Jordan Mackampa in 2017 will be a good idea.
