I've been a fan of Nashville-native and all-round good egg Jake McMullen for a while now, first featuring him in the opening playlist from our All Acoustic series. His Always EP is still a regular companion in our house, with his unique blend of emotive singer-songwriting mixed with a modern yet vulnerable Southern vibe (a la Brian Wright/Joe Purdy).

I have to say that when I saw him pull out a cover of Robyn's now iconic track, I pressed play with an equal measure of intrigue and trepidation...........

Well fear not my fair-weather friends, it's a gem!
