Woah, there are so many thoughts rushing through my brain... it almost feels like a maze and every next word I type leads to a different path. That's kinda cool I guess. But, yeah.
The thing I sometimes wonder is to what extend people who read/listen to Stereofox like/care about the words we put into those features. That's probably the activity I've researched the least and as a marketer I deeply know there are tons of ways to find out, but there's something which subconsciously lets me leave it be and... wonder about it. The reason I wonder about this is not related to feeding mine or anyone's ego or desperate need for approval or anything. If now someone comes and pour a bucket of criticism, I would gladly hear him out and even try to change if that person has a certain amount of truth-ness in his words. The reason why I occasionally ask myself this questions is because (sometimes) I believe we tend to be a bit more personal and often expose ourselves to... you guys, who are behind your laptops and just happen to be on our Internet island.
So, of course when I put something a bit more personal, a little part of myself wonders who reads that and what they think about it. I can't really speak for the rest of the team, but I know for myself that there are 2 types of articles - ones where the song is the driving force and I just add some random ramble for the sake of it, and other where words come first (for me) and the song feels like the perfect soundtrack to those words. I do realize I probably didn't say anything revolutionary and head-blowing with this article, but it was a great fun writing it and of course would like to thank to Fragments (FR) for creating this beautiful piece of music. I hope these sounds make your day slightly more relaxed.
