Been ages since I've heard anything from Fortunes but I somehow stumbled upon this crispy sharp blend of jazzy instrumentals and soulful vocals released in the beginning of 2016. A good reminder of how talented these guys are. "Keeper" was hell of a track back in 2014.

It literally took me just a few chords to get hooked to "Energy". Everything from the melodic piano chord progression to the subtle, but totally on-the-spot drums is pure stellar production work. I guess if you're into the whole soul / groove thing, bookmarking the The Melbourne-based duo is the smart thing to do!
