Flume's sophomore album Skin which was released back in May this year is still on my personal highlights when it comes to electronic music.
The record is seriously rich when it comes to collaborations and we've already shared with you Flume's team ups with Tove Lo, Vic Mensa, Kai and Vince Staples. There was another tune I really wanted to share with you, but wasn't available on SoundCloud - "Tiny Cities" featuring the vocals of Beck.
Now the slow-motion tune gets a re-do from the Pittsburgh-based producer Headphone Activist who I discovered last year. While keeping the original vibe, the original feels a bit more... melodic, aerial and somehow lushful. The kind of track which makes time going slower. Needless to say - anything which touches you internally = pure gold.
Now that I think about it, this is the track you want to play early in the morning after a camping night. You know, when the first rays of sun hit your face.
