Can you believe it? emawk (Kwame Nkrumah) has been a staple artist on the Stereofox site since 2018 and it's been beautiful to watch his sound take on various shapes throughout the years. On "PYP" merges r&b and electronic in a way that resembles his signature style and is somewhat reminiscent of the likes of Galimatias and 53 Thieves. The wavy synth tones complement his calming vocal delivery and this provides a sense of warmth when it comes to the entire. I can't neglect to mention the gripping songwriting here as he exhibits the emotions that come with feeling emotionally unconsidered in a relationship.
