I found myself listening to this album again earlier this week and being so utterly obsessed with one track in particular, I kind of bullied Ivo into letting me take over the #throwbackthursday honours this week.
It's well over 10 years since I was first introduced to Citizen Cope. I was travelling around Thailand and had arranged an overnight experience at Maya Bay (better known for being that DiCaprio "Beach") where we bumped into a group of Australians - a BBQ and a couple of "tinnies" later and I was just entranced with this album playing in the background on someones portable speaker. I'm really not sure if I love this album and indeed this track because of the perfect setting we were in at the time - or whether it's just all down to Mr.Cope.
Either way its night on 13 years since this was released and I think it has definitely stood the test of time - right up there in my book!!
