Always a sucker for sweet, soulful sounds and warm melodies, so no surprise that this track by LVNA has been on heavy rotation since landing in my inbox a few weeks ago.
Comprising of Teresa Origone (keys/synth) and Lydia Clowes (vocalist/drum machine) the pair's debut track is an effortless piece of contemporary neo-soul mixed with jazz vocals and lightly flavoured pop elements that call to mind LA trio Moonchild. The glistening electronic keys provided by Origone are spot on, and Clowes pristine harmonies are an absolute treat to the ears.
Be on the lookout for their debut EP titled “In Limerence” early next month. Something very promising is bubbling with this duo, and we're excited to hear their next musical step.
